LIQUID ARTWORK

These gorgeous pieces of liquid artwork were made by Michael Puris after he began experimenting with the medium. With no canvas, Puris began pouring milk, water, coffee and juices into intricate shapes.

The tool used to create the wet and imaginative representations was mostly just a pipette. With the zebra made out of milk he took the longest, 45 minutes to master all the details after trial and error. With such fluid substances, it is easy to mess up and hard to delicately place each blob of liquid where it needs to be. Truly a superb idea executed with simplistic elegance, and very deserving of it going viral.
